Lucio Ghia

Is an expert in Bankruptcy Law, Corporate Law and Commercial Law. His expertise, acquired both in Italy and abroad, have enabled him to hold important institutional offices by Ministerial appointment.
He was appointed by the Italian Government to participate on the Expert Committee that drafted the principles, regulations and criteria for the new Bankruptcy Laws in Italy. He was also appointed to the Board at the Ministry of Justice to develop the Decree Amending the Bankruptcy Law.
He is currently a Representative of the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affaire at the UNCITRAL (United Nations Commission on International Trade Law) in New York.
In March 2009 he received the Fellowship of the American College of Bankruptcy in Washington DC.
He is also a Professor of International Commercial Law at Università Telematica G. Marconi in Rome.

Riccardo Demontis

After receiving his Law Degree at Università degli Studi di Cagliari, in 2005, he received a degree from the Postgraduate School for Legal Professions at the Università degli Studi “La Sapienza” di Roma.
Active in banking and administrative law, he is also a Professor of Civil Trial Law at the Postgraduate School for Legal Professions of Università Telematica “G. Marconi” in Rome.

Carlo Ghia

After obtaining his Law Degree at Università degli Studi “La Sapienza” di Roma in 2006, he worked as an associate with an AmLaw 200 American law firm in Atlanta.
After returning to Italy, he resumed his employment with the Ghia Law Firm broadening his expertise in civil and commercial law disputes.
From March 2010, he is qualified as Conciliator, specialized in Alternative Dispute Resolutions.

Claudio Ghia

After obtaining his Law Degree at Università degli Studi “La Normale” in Pisa, in 2002, he was admitted to the Bar Association of Rome.
He is an expert of Administrative Law and is carrying out an important consultancy with public entities and public agencies.
Since 2008 he has been a professor at the Università Telematica “G. Marconi” in Rome, where he teaches Civil Trial Law at the Postgraduate School for Legal Professions.

Alessandro Giorgetta

After obtaining his Law Degree at Università Luiss Guido Carli in Rome, in 2005 he was admitted to the Bar Association of Rome, and specializes in the fields of corporate and banking law.
Like many attorneys at Ghia Law Firm, he believes in the importance of academics and has been actively involved with this aspect of the law first, as an assistant to the Chair of National and International Arbitration Law Department, at the Università LUISS Guido Carli, and currently as a professor of Commercial Law; International Commerce Law; and Law of Intangible Assets, at Università Telematica “G. Marconi” in Rome. He has also been a lecturer in the Civil Trial Law course of the Postgraduate School for Legal Professions at the same university.

Andrea Pivanti

Andrea received his law degree from Università degli Studi “La Sapienza” di Roma, and began his legal career by working with major law firms before coming to Ghia Law Firm. He is an expert in banking and administrative law and has also developed an in depth knowledge of arbitration proceedings and alternative dispute resolution.
He is a professor in the Postgraduate School for Legal Professions in Civil Trial Law at Università Telematica “G. Marconi” in Rome.

Nello Sabatino

After obtaining his Law Degree at Università degli Studi di Napoli “Federico II”, he moved from Naples to Rome to work for Ghia law firm and has been involved in civil, commercial, and banking disputes.
